Note: This filmography lists about a third of the movies I have made. Many titles are unknown or have not been released on video. In several very early ’70s movies my name appears in the credits as Annie Sands. I also made approximately fifty 8mm loops, which are not listed here. Please don’t buy the video “Annie Sprinkle, Queen of Kink” it’s really bad and not kinky at all.

Post-Modern Sex Films

Current Flow: 1987. Prod.: The Gay Men’s Health Crisis. Video. When AIDS hit, the heterosexual porn industry didn’t much take to using safer sex, but the safe-sex educators took to using porn to get their message across. I believe this was the first safe-sex education video for lesbians, and it was the first time I used a dental dam.
Masturbation Memoirs: 1995. Directed by Carol Leigh, a.k.a. Scarlot Harlot. Prod.: House O’ Chicks. Video. A women’s self-help masturbation video dedicated to former surgeon general Jocylyn Elders. Tattoo Vampire: Late ’80s. Directed by cool guy Albert Jaccoma. Prod.: S. Webb. Video. Wacky vignettes with tattoo artist extraordinaire Spider Webb and his crazy, colorful, bloody friends.
Temple of the Fetus: 1993. Directed and produced by Kathy High. A semiserious, artistic, well-done docudrama about modern reproductive technologies. Shelly Mars impregnates me with a turkey baster. Played on PBS.
War Is Menstrual Envy: Early ‘90s. Directed and produced by Nick Zedd. 16mm. A classic underground film, featuring the ever-delightful rock star Kembra Pfahler.

The Affairs of Janice: 1976. Directed and written by Zebedy Colt. Prod.: Taurus/Blue Video. 16mm. A tale of torrid sex in the suburbs. I get fucked, sucked and spanked on the lawn.
As You Like It: Very early ’70s. Prod.: Regency Video. 16mm. This one has my name on the box cover as the star, but I can’t find myself in it anywhere.
Bang Bang: 1975. Directed by Chuck Vincent. X-rated comedy skits Laugh-In- style. I play a game show contestant on What the Fuck Do You Do? (like I’ve Got a Secret). An enchanting scene.
Centerfold Fever: Early ’80s. Directed by Richard Millner. Prod.: Bradford. 35mm. After a foursome, I do a humorous Bosom Ballet duet with flat-chested Samantha Fox. A relatively dazzling, creatively done film.
Cherry Hustlers: Mid-’70s. Directed and produced by Art Ben. Prod.: Art Mart. 16mm. I have sex with Vanessa Del Rio and a guy who fists me on the disco dance floor with everyone obliviously dancing around. John Travolta ain’t got nothin’ on this.
Come with Me My Love: Late ’70s. Directed and produced by “Luigi Manicottale,” who is really cult favorite director Doris Wishman. Prod.: Classic X Video, VCA. Video. Doris always wanted to make horror movies, but at the time she could only raise the money for porn movies. So her porn movies are a lot like horror movies. This is the film Alfred Hitchcock always wanted to make but didn’t have the guts to. Porn at its most wonderfully absurd. A young woman’s jealous husband dies, and every time she has sex with someone, his ghost comes back to haunt her. I get stabbed by the ghost between the breasts. My bad acting is a must-see, if you can possibly find a copy.
Consenting Adults: Mid-’80s. Directed by Gerard Damiano. Prod.: Evert Ent./Video X Pix. 35mm and 16mm. Veronica Vera and I conceived and starred in this pseudo-documentary that was filmed mostly at The Sprinkle Salon. Everyone plays themselves doing what they like to do sexually in real life. This is a very good, creatively done porn movie, plus I had a really beautiful strawberry blonde hair color at the time. Veronica does a very sexy scene about writing erotica, and I get done by my real-life macho biker lover, Michael Cycle, while laced very tight in a corset.

Devil Inside Her: 1976. Directed by Zebedy Colt. Prod: Jason West/Taurus, Dist: California Video. 16mm. A devil worship flick, made in the director’s backyard in Woodstock. In a satanic ritual, I get brutally gang-banged by four big, rough guys. At that time I was very turned on by rape fantasies (which was America’s number-two most popular fantasy). After acting a rape out to the max, and being truly scared, I never got excited by rape fantasies again. It’s one of those I-can’t-believe-I-did-that movies. I play a hooker posing as a hotel maid for the Mafia and have a three-way with Jamie Gilles and a blonde woman whose name I don’t know. The director of Boogie Nights must have studied this one.
Dreams of Desire: Mid-’80s. Directed by T. Darling. Prod.: Bizarre Video. Video. I do lesbian stuff with large-lipped Alexis Firestone in an office.
Ecstasy in Blue: Mid-’70s. Directed by Dexter Eagle. Prod.: Mandarine Productions. 16mm. I tell an erotic story about having sex with thirteen-year-old boys, which is a big no-no nowadays but was a totally permissible theme in the ’70s. I wear nice Chinese costumes.

Orgy at Poysinberry Bar: 1986. Directed by glam transvestite Kim Christy. Prod.: Avanta. Video. A “he/she” film, which is what we used to call pre-op male-to-female transsexuals before we became educated.
Oriental Techniques in Pain and Pleasure: 1983. Directed by Phil Prince. Prod.: Avon Video. 16mm. I get kidnapped, raped, and forced to do “abominable, detestable sex acts,” for example, fist-fuck my “brother” to my elbow. Billy Kerr could take anything up his butt, including an entire rack of billiard balls. In principle, I didn’t really want to do violent movies (I was raised by pacifist parents), but I remember I really needed the money for something at the time and was offered $500 a day. It sounded like fun, and I was very curious to see what it would be like to do violent movies. An excellent example of the kind of porn not to make.

Pandora’s Mirror: Late ’80s. Directed by Warren Evans. Prod.: Caballero. 35mm. A great script, lush production values and exceptionally good lighting, starring the magnificent, seductive Veronica Hart. My mediocre cameo part was filmed at the Hellfire Club.
Pinned and Smothered: Late ’80s. Director unknown. Prod.: Amazonia Productions. Video. Fetish wrestling. It’s always sexy fun wrestling, plus it’s a great workout. I did a half-dozen other wrestling videos, but I don’t know what they’re called.

Streets of Sin Francisco: Director unknown. (Regency Home Video, 1972) This one looks as if it were made in the ’60s by a bunch ofhippies, which we actually were, tie dyed T-shirts and all. A half-dozen unself-conscious, fleshy, wall-to-wall orgy scenes filmed without sound. The voices and sex sounds were dubbed in later by Jamie Gilles and Tina Russell without any attempt to synchronize them to the moving mouths. Streets of Sin Francisco was filmed in Manhattan.
Sue Prentice R.N.: Mid-’70s. Directed by Ron Dorfman. Prod.: A.N.V.–Creme De Coca Series. 16mm. Four construction workers search the New York City sewers for a mysterious animal and emerge contaminated. Four nurses (of which I am one) have to run routine sperm count tests. Virtually wall-to-wall E.C.U.’s (extreme close-ups of genitalia). Good-humored, low-budget jerk-off material.
Sunset Strip Girls Early ’70s: . Directed by Cid Roth. Prod.: TGA. 16mm. Contains the exact same orgy scene as The Streets of Sin Francisco.
Teenage Covergirl: 1973. Directed and produced by James Tagger. Prod.: Sensorium. 16mm. This was actually the first porn movie I ever made. Teenage Deviant: 1973. Directed by Ralph El. Prod.: Leo De Leon, a.k.a Leonard Kirtman, Taurus Prod. Dist.: Evart Enterprises. 16mm.
